Preakness 2022: See updated odds to win at Pimlico
Kentucky Derby runner-up Epicenter remained the favorite Saturday as betting intensified for the 147th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico.
Epicenter carried odds of 7-5 just before the on-track odds that were showing on the racetrack monitors were updated to show the handle from all sources across North America. In the next click just before 10 a.m. EDT he went to 2-1 to lead the field of nine 3-year-olds who are scheduled to race Saturday at 7:01 p.m. EDT.
Disparities between the morning line and live odds were most apparent with Fenwick, the maiden winner who was the last horse entered into the race. The estimate that he would be 50-1 was countered by early betting that drove him into single-digit odds that lingered late into Saturday afternoon.

The will-pays for the Black-Eyed Susan-Preakness double showed Epicenter to be a heavy favorite on the back end of Interstatedaydream’s victory Friday. If Epicenter were to win the Preakness on Saturday, the $2 double would pay $47.20.
