The National Racing Club $100,000 Sweepstakes at Portland Meadows – a unique 20-cent wager featuring six, two-furlong races - was hit Monday by a single player for $100,000.
The winning ticket was hit by an ADW player with a ticket costing $1,440.
Track management has announced that the final week of the National Racing Club Sweepstakes will be Monday, Feb. 8. There will be no $100,000 guarantee, but whatever money is wagered in the pool Monday will be forced out.
