Wednesday’s card at Charles Town will feature a mandatory payout in the Pick 6 wager. The jackpot sits at $104,383.

The Pick 6 at Charles Town is a 20-cent minimum wager with a 12% takeout. It pays out the entire jackpot to a single winning ticket with all six winners, and always covers the last six races of the racing card.

On nights with multiple winning tickets, 75% of the pool is distributed with 25% carrying over. But on Wednesday’s card, the mandatory payout of the $104,383 jackpot will create a value-added opportunity for horseplayers as the jackpot money will be up for grabs.

The Pick 6 starts in race 3 on Wednesday. The sequence is approachable for horseplayers, with one six-horse field, three seven-horse fields, an eight-horse field, and a nine-horse field to close out the night. Wednesday also features only two competing nighttime thoroughbred signals, so the pool is expected to be one of the largest in the country that day.

First post time for Wednesday’s card is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
