Pick 6, NYRA Bets Pick 5 carryovers with mandatory payouts Sunday

A pair of longshot winners on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack triggered carryovers into the Pick 6 and NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 wagers into Sunday's closing day card with a mandatory payout.
The $18,071 Pick 6 and the $48,700 NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 carryovers became strong possibilities in Race 7 when Vip Nation ($127.50) closed late to win at 62-1. Their fates were finally sealed, however, in Race 9, with Baby Boss ($48.80) wiring her competition at 23-1 in the New York Stallion Series Park Avenue division.
The Pick 6 consolation payout for four of six winners was $172. One hundred percent of the Late Pick 5 pool carries over into Sunday's wager.
Sunday's Pick 6 sequence will begin in Race 5 with a post time of 3:38 p.m. The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 will get underway in Race 6 at 4:11. There is also a mandatory payout of the early Pick 5, encompassing the first five races. First post on the 10-race card is 1:20.
Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, and at simulcast facilities across the country.
Following Sunday, live racing moves to Belmont Park on Friday, April 27 with a first post of 1:30.
