Pedroza on record pace at Fairplex

Martin Pedroza earned four victories on Wednesday and two more Thursday, giving him 26 in the first six days of the 15-day Fairplex Park meet.

He's on pace to break his record of 51 wins set in 2004, but his agent remains cautious.

Pedroza, the track's career leader in stakes victories with 69, including four of the first five in this meet, and 632 wins overall, needs to average 2.9 wins a day over the meet's final nine days to set the mark.
