Richard Malouf and Edwin T. Broome’s Partyallnightlong grabbed the lead right from the start and never looked back, capturing the $46,000 allowance/optional claiming feature at Monmouth Park on Friday by a geared down 2 ¾ lengths.

Trained by Broome and ridden by Paco Lopez, Partyallnightlong was making his first start since winning the Dan Horn Stakes on Meadowlands turf nearly 15 months ago.  The winner returned $5.80, $3.20 and $2.40 and topped a $26.80 exacta.  Silver Menace rallied for second, paying $4.20 and $2.80.  Harbor Breeze checked in another 10 ¾ lengths back in third, good for a $3 show mutuel.

A 6-year-old horse by Put It Back from the Jules mare Party to Party, Partyallnightlong has won eight of his 14 lifetime starts.

Live racing continues at Monmouth Park on Saturday, Aug. 31 – gates open 11:30 a.m., first post 12:50 p.m.  In addition, Saturday marks the first of a two-day BBQ and Craft Beer Festival at the racetrack.
