Ocala Stud announces fees for expanded 2017 stallion roster
J. Michael O'Farrell Jr.'s Ocala Stud has set stud fees for its expanded 13-stallion roster for 2017, led again by Canadian Horse of the Year Uncaptured and Grade 1 winner The Big Beast who will both stand for a fee of $6,000 S&N in 2017.
Uncaptured and The Big Beast were two of Florida’s most popular stallions in 2016, covering 108 and 103 mares, respectively, to represent two of the four active Florida stallions to breed 100 or more mares last breeding season.
Ocala Stud welcomes Admiral Kitten, a Grade 1 winner by leading sire Kitten’s Joy, and Fort Loudon, a champion 2-year-old and 3-year-old in Florida, new to its stallion ranks for 2017.
