Oaklawn-based Shedaresthedevil, a finalist for an Eclipse Award as the country’s champion 3-year-old filly is 2020, is probably “a week or so” away from her first breeze this year, trainer Brad Cox said.

Shedaresthedevil won Oaklawn’s $300,000 Honeybee Stakes (G3) and the $1.25 million Kentucky Oaks (G1) last year.

“She’s really doing well,” Cox said.

The $350,000 Azeri Stakes (G2) for older fillies and mares March 13 at Oaklawn, Cox said, is a potential landing spot for Shedaresthedevil’s 2021 debut.

Owned by Flurry Racing Stables, Qatar Racing and Big Aut Farms, Shedaresthedevil has compiled a record of 11: 5-2-3 with earnings of $1,285768. The Daredevil filly's other graded stakes win last year came in the Indiana Oaks (G3). She is a finalist for champion 3-year-old filly along with Gamine and Swiss Skydiver.
