Nysos is made 5-2 favorite in Preakness Future Wager pool 1

Trained by Bob Baffert, Nysos closed as the 5-2 favorite in the first ever March pool of the Preakness Future Wager presented by Horse Racing Nation. It began Thursday and concluded Saturday night. The pool handled a total of $136,608.
The second choice in the betting was the mutuel field of all other 3-year-olds, which was at 5-1, followed by Risen Star (G2) winner Sierra Leone at 14-1. Fountain of Youth (G2) winner Dornoch was the fourth choice in the betting at 18-1.
Baffert, who is not eligible to enter horses for the Kentucky Derby this year, had four horses in the Preakness Future Wager, Nysos at 5-2, Muth 19-1, Maymun 20-1 and Coach Prime 32-1.
