A Nyquist colt out of Deja Vu sold for $1 million on Tuesday to lead the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May sale of 2-year-olds in training.

The colt was purchased by April Mayberry on behalf of an unidentified partnership, according to Thoroughbred Daily News.

The colt worked a furlong last week in 10 2/5 seconds. He is a half-brother to stakes winner Crystal Ball, according to the report.

He was consigned by Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables and was purchased as part of Dunne and Paul Reddam's Red Wings pinhooking partnership for $200,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale, according to the report.

Also at the sale Tuesday, a colt by Uncle Mo out of Gaelic Tales went for $975,000, as did a Constitution colt out of Chic.

Previously scheduled as a two-day event on Monday and Tuesday, the entire auction was held on Monday instead.
