The Kentucky Derby trail through New York will resume on Saturday, Jan. 13, the rescheduled date for the $150,000 Jerome Stakes.

The Jerome and a handful of other recent Aqueduct stakes were postponed as a cold spell hit the Northeast, forcing cancellation of races through Sunday. The worst of the weather is expected to end by next week.

Per the New York Racing Association, here are the updated stakes dates:

$100,000 Bay Ridge: Thursday, Jan. 11

$100,000 La Verdad: Friday, Jan. 12

 $150,000 Jerome: Saturday, Jan. 13

$100,000 East View: Sunday, Jan. 14

$100,000 Damon Runyon: Monday, Jan. 15

Each rescheduled stakes other than the Jerome is limited to New York-breds. The races will be re-drawn.

The field was previously headed by multiple graded stakes winner Firenze Fire.
