Bruno Schickedanz’s My Place Anytime pressed 3-5 favorite Silverette early before putting away that rival and all the rest, winning the $60,000 Blue Sparkler Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday by 5 ¾ lengths.

Ridden by Abel Mariano, My Place Anytime covered the six furlongs over a fast main track in 1:09 4/5 and paid $20.40, $6.40 and $4.20.  Silverette held the place completing the $49.80 exacta and paying $2.60 to place and $2.20 to show.  It was another neck back to Promise Me A Cat, who paid $4.20 to show.

“She is a very nice filly,” said winning trainer Yvon Belsoeur.  “I wasn’t surprised to see her right up on the pace nor about the time.  She was going easy the whole way.  We’ll regroup and then decide on her next start.”

A 5-year-old mare by Don Six from the Out of Place mare Your Place Anytime, My Place Anytime has won eight of her 21 lifetime starts.
