Monday's Best Bet: Bluegrass Ball can make last run at Laurel Park

Monday's 8th race from Laurel Park (10-16-17) is a Starter Allowance event for 3-year-olds and up dashing five and one-half furlongs on the turf course. 

#10 BLUEGRASS BALL (5-1) was up for 2nd vs. similar course/distance foes under today's rider Boyce (2-for-4 w/Houghton) Sept 23 and he is one of the Fastest in the Stretch. Barn shows a +ROI with turf starters and he won back-to-back sprints prior to his last. He finished in the Top 3 in 4 of 5 local turf outings and won a Laurel entry level event at this distance last fall. 

#8 Puturseatbelton (4-1) got the jump on my top choice Sept 23 and will try to for another outside stalk/pounce trip under new rider Eramia. 

#4 Billy the Bull (3-1) dueled, opened up, and faded as the chalk in the same race my top two exit. He is 11-for-21 at this distance on turf and can bounce back 2nd off the shelf.
