In her first work since winning the Grade 1 New York Stakes during the Belmont Stakes racing festival at Saratoga, leading turf filly She Feels Pretty picked up right where she left off: going fast. The 4-year-old daughter of Karakontie, trained by Cherie DeVaux, earned the four-furlong bullet on the dirt training track at Saratoga in 48.8 seconds. It was the fastest of 40 over that course and distance Monday morning.

The second-fastest four-furlong breeze Monday morning on the Saratoga dirt training track belonged to another horse coming back from a Grade 1 race during Belmont Stakes weekend. Spirit of St Louis, trained by Chad Brown, worked that distance in 49.0 seconds. A 6-year-old full brother to 2017 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint winner Bar of Gold, Spirit of St Louis broke through this year with top-level wins in the Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1) and the Turf Classic (G1). He seeks to bounce back from a sixth-place finish behind Deterministic in the Manhattan (G1) last out.
