A pair of Grade 1 winners based in California worked Monday, continuing their training toward seasonal debuts.

Tamara, a daughter of Beholder by Bolt d'Oro, won the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante last fall. But she has not raced since finishing seventh as the favorite in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies in November and coming out of that race with a splint bone fracture. The Richard Mandella trainee has posted regular short works through April. Her drill Monday covered three furlongs in 37.0 seconds over the Santa Anita dirt.

Shoemaker Mile (G1) winner Exaulted, trained by Peter Eurton, posted his third work of the month Monday morning. He covered five furlongs over the all-weather training track in an easy 1:02.8 seconds.
