Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile winner Full Serrano, who worked last Monday for the first time since December, returned to the Santa Anita dirt for a Monday move. He went three furlongs in 36.8 seconds for trainer John Sadler. In his most recent start, he upset the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile on Nov. 2 at Del Mar, stalking the pace and winning by 1 1/2 lengths over consistent Maryland mainstay Post Time.

Citizen Bull, winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile last year, also drilled over the dirt at Santa Anita on Monday morning. The Bob Baffert charge went five furlongs in 1:01.0. It was his third workout since his fourth-place finish behind Patch Adams in the Grade 1 Woody Stephens on June 7.

Another top sophomore for Baffert, Rodriguez, also worked Monday. The Wood Memorial (G2) winner worked a bullet four furlongs in 46.4 seconds on the Santa Anita dirt, fastest of 37 over course and distance. It was his third workout since a fourth-place finish in the Belmont Stakes behind Sovereignty on June 7.
