There Goes Harvard, unraced since the 2023 Santa Anita Handicap (G1), continues on the comeback trail for trainer Michael McCarthy. The 2022 Hollywood Gold Cup (G1) winner worked five furlongs in 1:00.2 at Santa Anita. It was the second work of the year for the 6-year-old son of Will Take Charge.

Gold Phoenix, working toward his first start since a fourth-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Turf, covered five furlongs in 1:00.0 on Monday. The son of Belardo, trained by Phil D'Amato, won the Frank E. Kilroe Mile (G1) in 2023, and has won the last two editions of the Del Mar Handicap (G2).
