Cavalieri, the 4-year-old filly with a 4-for-4 record, worked Monday morning at Del Mar for trainer Bob Baffert.

The Nyquist filly went four furlongs in 47.6 seconds, seventh fastest of 50 works at the distance.

Cavalieri has had two starts this year, winning the Grade 3 La Cañada in January and the Beholder Mile (G1) in March. Baffert said he gave her a break to freshen her for the Breeders' Cup. The Distaff is the goal, but Baffert did not rule out the possibility of a race before then.
