For her personality as much as her pedigree, Miss Isella has long been a favorite of trainer Ian Wilkes.
Watching her develop into a rising distaff star has made him an even bigger fan.
“It was a case of you always liked her, because she always tried hard,” Wilkes said. “As good as she is, you’re always hoping they mature that way. She’s always been an honest filly.”
