Mini Golf Course Set to Open at Monmouth Park

Bluegrass Miniature Golf at Monmouth Park will have its 2013 season opener on Saturday, April 27 as the 36-hole course kicks off a seven day a week schedule through mid-October.

“We enjoyed a rather soft-opening last fall when the courses were just completed,” said John Forbes, who has spear-headed the project for over a year.  “There was a tremendous response last year and we’ll look to build on that this year as we enter our first full season.  I’m certain Bluegrass Mini Golf will prove an across the board winner for families, racetrack-goers, shore visitors and of course, locals.”

Bluegrass Mini Golf, complete with lights, features two 18-hole horse-themed courses.  Located at the north end of the Monmouth Park property, mini golf has its own entrance from Port-au-Peck Avenue.

Saturday’s first “tee-time” will be 10:00 a.m., with the courses staying open until 9:00 p.m. (last round starts 45 minutes prior to closing).  For more information please call 732-587-8062 or visit www.monmouthpark.com.
