Midnight Bisou, Uncle Chuck lead Monday's graded-stakes winners

Fleur de Lis winner Midnight Bisou worked Monday at Saratoga for trainer Steve Asmussen, and Bob Baffert worked three graded-stakes winners at Del Mar.

Midnight Bisou (Midnight Lute), a five-time Grade 1 winner, worked six furlongs in 1:12.8 at Saratoga on Monday morning. It was the fastest of 2 works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago, going five furlongs at Saratoga. In her last start, she won in the Fleur de Lis (G2), going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Churchill Downs on June 27 for trainer Steve Asmussen. She's pointed to the G1 Personal Ensign. on Aug. 1 at Saratoga

Baffert works three at Del Mar

Uncle Chuck (Uncle Mo), a Grade 3 winner (2020 Los Alamitos Derby), worked six furlongs in 1:13.4 at Del Mar on Monday morning. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago, going four furlongs at Del Mar. In his last start, won the Los Alamitos Derby (G3), going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Los Alamitos Race Course on July 4 for Baffert.  The Los Alamitos Derby winner is slated for the G1 Travers on Aug. 8 at Saratoga.

McKinzie (Street Sense), a four-time Grade 1 winner, worked five furlongs in 1:00.6 at Del Mar on Monday morning. It was the sixth fastest of 54 works at the distance. This is his first work since his last race, when he placed fifth in the Met Mile (G1), going 1 mile on the main track at Belmont Park on July 4 for trainer Bob Baffert.

Eight Rings (Empire Maker), a Grade 1 winner (2019 FrontRunner), worked five furlongs in 1:00.4 at Del Mar on Monday morning. It was the fourth fastest of 54 works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago, going 5 furlongs at Del Mar. In his last start, he placed fifth in the Bachelor, going 6 furlongs on the main track at Oaklawn Park on April 25 for Baffert.

Shancelot (Shanghai Bobby), a Grade 2 winner (2019 Amsterdam), worked four furlongs in 49.8 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the 27th fastest of 54 works at the distance. His previous work was six days, ago going 4 furlongs at Keeneland. In his last start, he placed second in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) going six furlongs on the main track at Santa Anita Park on Nov. 2 for trainer Jorge Navarro.

Peace Achieved (Declaration of War), a Grade 3 winner (2019 Bourbon), worked 5 furlongs in 1:02.8 at Churchill Downs on Monday morning. It was the 18th fastest of 26 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago, going five furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start, he placed 11th in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1), going 1 mile on the turf at Santa Anita Park on Nov. 1 for trainer Mark Casse.
