Anyone wishing to contribute to the Michael Baze Memorial Fund to help defray funeral expenses can do so at any Bank of America.
Any additional money raised will go to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, according to a spokesperson for Baze’s mother Teri Gibson.
Hollywood Park will hold a public memorial for Baze, who passed away May 10 at the age of 24, immediately after the races Thursday. The tribute will be in the Sunset Room.
