Mi Sueno, California’s leading 2-year-old filly, suffered a condylar fracture of a cannon bone during a workout Tuesday, Sept. 29, in preparation for the Oct. 4 Oak Leaf Breeders’ Cup Stakes (gr. I) at Oak Tree at Santa Anita, according to Daily Racing Form. The injury, which came as she galloped out after working a half-mile at Hollywood Park, places her racing career in jeopardy.
