Mambo Meister continued his domination of Calder stakes races by romping to victory in Monday's $100,000 Memorial Day Handicap (Grade 3), and will now head to northern tracks for the summer.
Mambo Meister took the lead around the far turn and beat Causeway's Kin by 7 3/4 lengths in the 1 1/16-mile dirt stakes. Cinnamon Road finished a neck behind in third.
The win was his third in a Grade 3 stakes -- all since last October and all at Calder Race Course.
