Trainer Mark Kavanagh said he would decide on Thursday night whether Makybe Diva's second foal La Dolce Diva would make her racing debut at Sandown on Saturday.
The two-year-old daughter of 2000 Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus and triple Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva, twice voted Australia's Horse of the Year, is an acceptor in Saturday's Jim Conway Hcp (1200m).
Kavanagh said he was waiting to see whether there was much improvement in the condition of the track, rated a slow (7) on Wednesday.
"I'd like it to go to dead otherwise she may go to a race on the Geelong synthetic (track) next Thursday," he said.
