Multiple winning tickets in Saturday’s mandatory payout of Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 were each worth $31,476.56.

The sequence included Halladay winning the $75,000 Sunshine Forever and ended with the 25-1 longshot Areyoutalkingtome winning the 12th and final race and returning $57.

The popular multi-race wager had gone unsolved for 10 consecutive racing days since an April 19 mandatory payout. There was a carryover jackpot pool of $1,481,488.75 at the start of Rainbow 6 wagering Saturday, and the total pool reached past $10 million.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is usually only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool usually goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool. However, on mandatory-payout days, the entire pool is paid out to the bettor or bettors with the most winners in the six-race sequence.

The Rainbow 6 starts anew Sunday with a $100,000 guaranteed pool.

There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover of $17,662.73 in the first race. First-race post time is set for 1 p.m.
