Emerald Downs Director of Racing Bret Anderson released a list of 26 handicap weights for the 74th renewal of the $300,000 Longacres Mile (GIII) on Sunday, Aug. 16.
California-based runners received the four high weights for the Northwest's richest and most prestigious event. Johnny Taboada's Autism Awareness and West Point Thoroughbreds' Awesome Gem were high-weighted at 122 lbs. apiece, while Dakota Phone and Sierra Sunset were assigned 120 lbs. each.
