The best races in the world this weekend are at Sha Tin Racecourse where the Hong Kong Jockey Club will stage its International Races, a quartet of Group 1s dubbed "the turf world championships."

The 10-race card begins 11:25 p.m. ET Saturday night with Group 1 action commencing at 1:10 a.m. ET Sunday morning with the Hong Kong Vase (race 4) and continuing with the Hong Kong Sprint (race 5), the Hong Kong Mile (race 7) and the Hong Kong Cup (race 8).

Horse Racing Nation will present a livestream companion program beginning at 12:30 a.m. ET. Ray Cotolo will join Ed DeRosa to discuss and wager on races 3, 4 and 5 live from Sha Tin.

Hong Kong Jockey Club American ambassador Dick Powell already did join Ed DeRosa. The pair discussed the Hong Kong Vase and Mile, and Powell is against the favorites in both races!

All races are available for wagering on the AmWager account wagering platform. HRN readers can get a $150 deposit match and qualify for free handicapping information.

Speaking of free handicapping information, the Hong Kong Jockey Club offers FREE PPs for the international races, and its homepage includes plenty of other analysis.

Coverage of the Hong Kong Thoroughbred season at Horse Racing Nation is made possible through a sponsorship by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
