Little Red Feather Racing buys minority interest in Lightstream
Little Red Feather Racing, California's largest racing club, has purchased a minority interest in UpHill Stable (Leonard Zenith) and Head of Plains (Sol Kumin) multiple graded stakes winner Lightstream for an undisclosed sum.
“Bringing opportunities like this to our great partners is the hallmark of LRF,” said LRF Managing Partner Gary Fenton. “Our partners expect us to fill their racing portfolios with horses that can improve in value and provide them with a first-class experience.”
“When we saw Lightstream win the Raven Run, I knew we had to find a way to buy-in,”said LRF Founder/Managing Partner Billy Koch. “This is an exciting horse with a world of potential and we look forward to a great co-ownership.”
Lightstream, recent winner of the GII Lexus Raven Run at Keeneland, will continue to be trained by Brian Lynch. The 3yo Harlan's Holiday filly is being pointed to the GI La Brea at Santa Anita Park on December 26, 2016 for her next start.
The deal for Lightstream was brokered by Travis White at Taylor Made Sales Agency and Bradley Weisbord at BSW Bloodstock.
