Owner-trainer Timothy Snyder has entered Saratoga Race Course stakes winner Lisa’s Booby Trap in a conditioned allowance race on Friday at Finger Lakes.
Lisa’s Booby Trap became something of a mainstream phenomenon for racing this summer because of her unique story involving Snyder’s deceased wife, a strip club, and being blind in one eye.
After winning her first three career starts during a five-week period at Finger Lakes this spring and early summer, Lisa’s Booby Trap shipped to Saratoga for Snyder where she won the restricted Loudonville Stakes by six lengths. Snyder then tried the three-year-old on turf, but the Drewman filly did not respond in the Riskaverse Stakes on September 2 finishing last of ten as the 11-to-10 favorite.
