Remarkable Rocket (Afleet Alex - Bold World by Fortunate Prospect) looked fit before the race. Source of Humor
(Distorted Humor - Outsource by Storm Bird), the full-sister to
Commentator, is a good looker and went off as the favorite. It was a
pretty fair start, although Ba Ba's Bunch (El Corredor - Full Figure by Polish Numbers) and Round N Round (Awesome Again - Chit Chatter by Lost Soldier) bumped, and Suzanne (Officer - Anclote by Twining) bobbled a bit. Fox Hunt
(Saint Liam - Zorra by Silver Fox) went to the lead, with Source of
Humor and Remarkable Rocket sharing 2nd. Remarkable Rocket came through
on the inside, and pulled away. Suzanne made a bit of a dent in the
lead late, but there was no catching Remarkable Rocket. Fox Hunt and
Source of Humor both tired, finishing 5th and 7th. Remarkable Rocket is
the second winner for Afleet Alex, and his first debut winner.
