Life At Ten, making her first start since the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic debacle, was soundly beaten by The Isabella Angel in the fifth race at Gulfstream Park on Sunday.

Jehan went straight to the front but Life At Ten was never far back under John Velazquez. The two early runners traded positions through six furlongs in 1:10.06.

The Isabella Angel, last early, swung out and launched her rally in the lane. She won going away by five lengths under Fernando Jara and paid $13.

Life At Ten nosed Jehan for the place. Joanie's Catch and Musical Romance trailed.

The final time for the flat mile optional claiming event for fillies and mares was 1:36.53.
