Laurel Park has canceled the race card scheduled for Saturday because of insufficient entries.

All races originally scheduled for Saturday will be moved to Sunday as overnight extras. Sunday's card draws Monday.

Live racing at Laurel Park resumes Friday with an eight-race program featuring two Pick 5 wagers, each with a 12% takeout rate. The featured seventh race is a conditioned six-furlong dirt sprint allowance for Maryland-bred or Maryland-sired horses. The race features 5-year-old gelding Enzo, an Elizabeth Merryman trainee who is a Great Notion half-brother to Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint winner Caravel and a full brother to Grade 2-placed Witty. He makes his first start since June 6 at Delaware Park, when he missed by a neck in a starter-optional claiming turf sprint.

Laurel is not the only mid-Atlantic track that has canceled a race card for lack of entries this week. Penn National also canceled its Friday card for the same reason.
