Stakes Webcast Features Trainer Brad Cox

HRN's latest Stakes Roundtable centered around trainer Brad Cox. 

Brad Cox is the trainer of Dazzling Gem, a contender on the Kentucky Derby trail, as well as Azeri Stakes winner, Call Pat, and turf stakes winner, Chocolate Ride. 

Hosts Joe Kristufek and Mark Midland were joined by Churchill Downs' Kevin Kerstein to talk with Brad Cox about his recent wins at Fairgrounds and Churchill Downs, as well as his time spent learning from trainers such as Dallas Stewart and Jimmy Baker. 

Cox enters the 2016 season off a career year in 2015 when his barn won a career high 98 races and earned a career high $3,627,337. Among his best runners were Carve, winner of Oaklawn’s $100,000 Fifth Season Stakes, Grade 3 winners Call Pat and Almasty and Grade 2 winners Spelling Again and Chocolate Ride.

Cox grew up around Churchill Downs and had some very interesting stories on how he has made his way in the industry.
