Airdrie Stud will offer G1 Kentucky Oaks winner Believe You Can at Fasig-Tipton in The November Sale, on Monday, November 3rd. The home-bred five-year-old mare, by the double Kentucky Oaks producing stallion Proud Citizen, is in foal on a February 19th cover to the nation’s #1 stallion, Tapit.
Believe You Can, a New York graded stakes winner at two, won the G1 Kentucky Oaks in 2012, as well as the G2 Fair Grounds Oaks. She won five additional stakes and retired with eight victories and earnings of $1,280,324.
Boyd Browning, president of Fasig-Tipton, commented … “When you look at the Honor Roll of fillies to have won the Kentucky Oaks, and couple it with her being in foal to Tapit, the hottest sire at stud in North America, it is obviously a high privilege for us to offer Believe You Can for Airdrie.
“We are excited that as one of the most significant Thoroughbred offerings of 2014, she joins an exclusive cast for our sale on November 3rd.”
