Krypton Factor Denies Rocket Man

ROCKET MAN was denied back-to-back wins in the Golden Shaheen by the Kieren Fallon-partnered Krypton Factor.

Last year's winner disputed the lead withearly pacesetter Giant Ryan and was clear of rivals turning for home.

But the pace had been strong and as Rocket Man's boosters began to fade Krypton Factor, trained by Bahrain-based Fawzi Nass, was well-placed to take advantage and he sprinted clear to score by two and a quarter lengths. Lucky Nine took third.
