Knicks Go, Mucho Gusto, Essential Quality lead Sunday's works

Knicks Go and Mucho Gusto, two of the leading contenders for the Pegasus World Cup, worked on Sunday morning.

Mucho Gusto, who will first prep in the San Antonio (G2) at Santa Anita Park on Dec. 26, drilled a bullet six furlongs in 1:12.80 at Santa Anita for trainer Bob Baffert.

Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile winner Knicks Go traveled four furlongs in 49.00 at Fair Grounds for trainer Brad Cox.

Brad Cox also sent fellow Breeders' Cup winner Essential Quality to the track for the first time since his victory in the Juvenile. He worked three furlongs in 36.20 at Fair Grounds.
