Killer Graces Back at Favorite Venue

In Saturday's Railbird Stakes, Killer Graces will shoot for her fourth stakes win at Betfair Hollywood Park.

Successful in the Cinderella, Landaluce and Grade I Hollywood Starlet as a 2-year-old in 2011, Killer Graces will be going turf to synthetic and cutting back in distance Saturday.

Owned by a partnership that includes Daniel Borislow, Gillian Campbell, Steve Melen and Hall of Fame trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, Killer Graces was third in her turf debut in the Grade III Providencia in her most recent start April 7 at Santa Anita.

A Congaree filly out of the Old Trieste mare Heatherdoesntbluff, Killer Graces has three wins in 11 starts and has banked $432,830.

Hollendorfer also entered Via Villaggio, who was fifth in the Grade III Senorita on turf May 5.

Owned by Steve Beneto, the Bernardini filly out of the Alhaarth mare Hoh Buzzard has won two of nine and earned $61,070.

A winner twice in three starts for the Mosses, who also bred her in Kentucky, and Sadler, Sister Moon will be making her graded debut. The Dixie Union filly out of the Pulpit mare has earned $86,310.

Sadler is seeking his third Railbird win. The trainer won with Melair in 1986 and and Sportfull Snob (1994).

Fourth in an optional claimer on turf May 5, Lady Fairbanks will also be making her initial appearance in a graded race. Owned by West Point Thoroughbreds and trained by Craig Dollase, the daughter of Pure Prize and the Yes It’s True mare Yes It’s Royalty is 1-for-7 with earnings of $51,980.

Completing the field is Dijarvo, an English bred daughter of Iceman and the Wolfhound mare Thicket. Trained by Paddy Gallagher for Harlequin Ranches, Dijarvo has won two of six and earned $51,052. Her victories came in England and France. She is winless in two races in the United States.
