Kera's Kitten looked good in the post parade. In contrast to his
stumble in the Turfway Prevue Stakes, this time Kera's Kitten got out
clean and went right to the lead. Patti's Kitten was near the back.
Slowest of all was early favorite Rockin' Rockstar, who was off
awkwardly and never got involved. Kera's Kitten continued to show the
way with Lucky Chuck taking the second spot. Gaining late was Slewzoom
(Slew City Slew - Just Zooming by Schembechler), who ran into second,
but Kera's Kitten was home free. The official margin was 2 1/2 lengths.
