Imperial Gun, who broke his maiden with a 5 3/4-length win at Oaklawn on New Year's Day, worked at Fair Grounds on Tuesday for trainer Steve Asmussen.
The Gun Runner colt breezed five furlongs in 1:01.0, third best of 17 at the distance.

Imperial Gun was one of five horses in Nevada futures for the Kentucky Derby who had published works Tuesday.
Crafted (Vino Rosso) worked four furlongs in 50.0 seconds at Louisiana Downs on Tuesday morning. It was the sixth fastest of 15 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed sixth in the Riley Allison Derby going one mile on the main track at Sunland Park on Jan. 19 for trainer Steve Asmussen.
El Magnifico (Street Sense) worked four furlongs in 51.4 seconds at Fair Grounds on Tuesday morning. It was the 42nd fastest of 46 works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going five furlongs at Fair Grounds. In his last start he placed fourth in a maiden race going one mile on the main track at Oaklawn on Jan. 13 for trainer Steve Asmussen.
