Ky. Derby works: Incredibolt returns after Street Sense win
Incredibolt worked Wednesday for the first time since his win in the Grade 3 Street Sense at Churchill Downs.
The Bolt d'Oro colt breezed three furlongs in 39.15 seconds at Palm Meadows, 15th fastest of 17 at the distance.
Trained by Riley Mott, Incredibolt broke his maiden in September at Churchill Downs in his second start. In the Street Sense, he rallied in the stretch to beat favored Universe by 1 3/4 lengths.
He was listed at 20-1 this week in Las Vegas future odds for Kentucky Derby 2026.
Other horses in Las Vegas futures and HRN top contenders with published works this week include Big Dom, Desert Gate and Intrepido.
Wednesday
Blinging It Back (Volatile) worked three furlongs in 37.3 seconds at Casse Training Center on Wednesday morning. It was the second fastest of four works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed eighth in the Bourbon (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Keeneland on Oct. 5 for trainer Mark Casse.
Ewing (Knicks Go), a Grade 2 winner (2025 Saratoga Special), worked three furlongs in 36.2 seconds at Casse Training Center on Wednesday morning. It was the fastest of four works at the distance. His previous work was 82 days ago going four furlongs at Churchill Downs. In his last start he won the Saratoga Special (G2) going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Saratoga on Aug. 2 for trainer Mark Casse.
Falcon Jet (Justify) worked four furlongs in 48.4 seconds at Los Alamitos on Wednesday morning. It was the fifth fastest of 13 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he placed third in a maiden race going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Los Alamitos on Dec. 6 for trainer Bob Baffert.
