Kentucky Derby works: Incredibolt fires a bullet

Incredibolt, winner of the Street Sense in his most recent start, fired a bullet Wednesday morning at Palm Meadows.

The Bolt d'Oro colt trained by Riley Mott breezed four furlongs in 48.45 seconds, fastest of 20 at the distance.

Incredibolt was listed at 22-1 this week in Las Vegas futures for Kentucky Derby 2026, the fifth choice on the 112-horse board.

He was one of three horses with Derby odds in Las Vegas and other HRN top contenders on the Wednesday tab.

Hero Declared (Maclean's Music) worked four furlongs in 48.0 seconds at Payson Park on Wednesday morning. It was the fastest of 16 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Payson Park. In his last start he placed second in a maiden race going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Saratoga on Aug. 16 for trainer Whit Beckman.

Igniter (Volatile) worked four furlongs in 51.0 seconds at Belmont Park on Wednesday morning. It was the 44th fastest of 50 works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going four furlongs at Belmont Park. In his last start he placed sixth in the Remsen (G2) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Aqueduct on Dec. 6 for trainer Rick Dutrow.

Incredibolt (Bolt d'Oro), a Grade 3 winner (2025 Street Sense), worked four furlongs in 48.4 seconds at Palm Meadows on Wednesday morning. It was the fastest of 20 works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Palm Meadows. In his last start he won the Street Sense (G3) going 1 1/16 miles on the main track at Churchill Downs on Oct. 26 for trainer Riley Mott.
