Kentucky Derby works: 3 in Vegas futures are on Friday tab

Three colts listed in Las Vegas futures for Kentucky Derby 2026 worked Friday morning.

Boss Dylan, 66-1 in Nevada futures and second in his debut in a Churchill Downs maiden race, breezed at Palm Meadows for trainer Brendan Walsh.

Confessional, 100-1 in the futures and winner of his only start, worked at Payson Park for Brad Cox.

And Criteria, 60-1 in the futures and second in his debut, breezed at Ian Brennan Stables in Ocala, Fla., for Chad Brown.

Here are details of the three works:

Boss Dylan (Liam's Map) worked five furlongs in 1:01.2 at Palm Meadows on Friday morning. It was the fourth fastest of seven works at the distance. His previous work was seven days ago going five furlongs at Palm Meadows. In his last start he placed second in a maiden race going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Churchill Downs on Nov. 23 for trainer Brendan Walsh.

Confessional (Essential Quality) worked four furlongs in 48.8 seconds at Payson Park on Friday morning. It was the second fastest of 31 works at the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going four furlongs at Payson Park. In his last start he won a maiden race going seven furlongs on the main track at Keeneland on Oct. 16 for trainer Brad Cox.

Criteria (Yaupon) worked three furlongs in 38.6 seconds at Ian Brennan Stables on Friday morning. It was the faster of two works at the distance. His previous work was 97 days ago going four furlongs at Saratoga. In his last start he placed second in a maiden race going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Saratoga on Aug. 2 for trainer Chad Brown.
