Resilience, who won the Grade 2 Wood Memorial on April 6 at Aqueduct, worked for the second time in five days at Churchill Downs on Monday morning.

Resilience worked five furlongs in 1:01.60 under jockey Junior Alvarado, who is expected to ride him in the Kentucky Derby, according to a report Monday morning from Sean Collins at BloodHorse. It will be Alvarado's first time riding Resilience in a race. John Velazquez was in the irons for his win in the Wood but is expected to ride Fierceness in the Kentucky Derby.

Champion juvenile filly Just F Y I, Resilience's stablemate for trainer Bill Mott, worked Monday morning at Churchill Downs as well. Just F Y I covered five furlongs in 59.80 seconds, fastest of 12 at the distance on the day, in preparation for the May 3 Kentucky Oaks (G1). Alvarado, who had ridden Just F Y I in all of her starts, rode her for Monday's work as well.

It was also Just F Y I's second work in five days. She worked four furlongs at Churchill Downs on Thursday, in company with Resilience.
