Ted Noffey, who already had Grade 1 victories in the Hopeful and Breeders’ Futurity, closed as the 10-1 top individual choice in pool 1 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager.

The pool closed nearly two hours before Ted Noffey won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Del Mar.

Six months in advance of Kentucky Derby 152, the pari-mutuel field of all other colts and geldings closed as the 6-5 favorite.

Del Mar Futurity (G1) winner Brant (14-1), Breeders’ Futurity runner-up Blackout Time (20-1) and 20-length Keeneland maiden winner Further Ado (21-1) also attracted mild interest from bettors into the national wager run by Churchill Downs.

This was the order of the public’s betting choices for the KDFW with trainers, sires, pool 1 odds and $2 win will-pays:
