Eight horses were added this week to the Caesars Sportsbook Nevada future odds for Kentucky Derby 2026.

You might be well aware of some of the new names, such as Bill Mott's impressive maiden winner Chief Wallabee. Others might not be so familiar. Here's a quick introduction to each of the eight and their Vegas odds this week.

Silent Tactic, 75-1. Trained by Mark Casse, this Tacitus colt won his October debut at Woodbine and then was second in both the Grey (G3) in November and the Smarty Jones on Jan. 3. He picked up 10 Derby qualifying points for his Smarty Jones effort. Purchased for $500,000 as a 2-year-old, he is owned by John Oxley.

Chief Wallabee, 75-1. The Constitution colt won with authority in his debut at Gulfsteam on Saturday, earning a 133 HRN speed figure. HRN's Brian Zipse believes he could move easily into stakes company and have no problem running longer for owner-breeders Mike and Katherine Ball.

The Puma, 90-1. The Gustavo Delgado trainee by Essential Quality was favored in that maiden special weight won by Chief Wallabee. He lost the lead in the stretch and was second by 1 1/2 lengths but 9 1/4 lengths of the rest of the field, picking up a 130 HRN figure. Owned by OMGA Investments, JR Ranch and High Step Racing, he was purchased as a 2-year-old for $150,000.

So Happy, 90-1. The Runhappy colt trained by Mark Glatt is 2-for-2 after his two-length win over Bob Baffert's odds-on favorite Buetane on Saturday in the Grade 2 San Vicente at Santa Anita, good for a 126 HRN speed figure. He sold for $150,000 last year and is owned by Norman Stables and Saints or Sinners.

Bull by the Horns, 100-1. Trained by Saffie Joseph Jr., he broke his maiden in November after finishing third in his September debut, both at Gulfstream Park. He's been working at the track since and is entered in an optional-claiming allowance there Friday. Sold for $75,000 as a yearling, he's owned by Peachtree Stable and Mark Corrado.

Robusta, 110-1. The Calumet Farm homebred trained by Doug O'Neill was seventh in his November debut, a race that was won by So Happy. He returned Friday with a gate-to-wire win in a maiden special weight at Santa Anita at odds of 24.8-1.

Thunderously, 125-1. Another impressive debut winner for Bill Mott, the Gun Runner colt drew off in the stretch of a maiden special weight at Gulfstream on Saturday to win by five lengths and earn a 112 HRN speed figure. He was sold for $300,000 as a yearling and is owned by Evan Trommer Jr., CDM Bloodstock and Crocket Farm.

Freedom's Echo, 200-1. After winning a maiden claimer at Parx in November in his second start, the Independence Hall colt was fourth of four last out in the Jerome for trainer Guadalupe Preciado. He sold for $35,000 last year and is owned by Nicholas Cammarano Jr.
