It calls for a partly cloudy day with a high of 74 degrees and a 24% chance of precipitation. Kentucky Oaks day on Friday is forecast at 77 degrees with a 47% chance of showers.

The warmest temperature was 94 degrees in 1959.

The only Derby day with frozen precipitation was in 1989, when sleet was observed from 1:01 p.m. EDT to 1:05 p.m.
