Kentucky Derby: Saffie Joseph Jr. on White Abarrio

Florida Derby winner White Abarrio arrived at Churchill Downs Monday morning, and trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. was on hand to talk about how his 2022 Kentucky Derby contender is coming up to the race.

White Abarrio defeated Charge It in the Florida Derby. Joseph talked about the reasons for his horse's wide trip in the Florida Derby. He also discussed his thoughts on whether he can get the 1 1/4-mile distance of the Kentucky Derby, and what he has learned about going into the Derby from his first starter, 2020 runner Ny Traffic.
