Kentucky Derby 2022: Oaks/Derby Double strategies

Many exciting wagering opportunities are in play for this year's Kentucky Derby, one of which is the Kentucky Oaks-Kentucky Derby Double.

Handicappers Ed DeRosa and Sara Elbadwi analyze ways to cash in on this wager, their top selections for both races, and who to use to create value. Both approach the double with differing strategies.

DeRosa uses two shorter prices in the Oaks and looks for long shots in the Derby. Elbadwi has a single in the Oaks and would spread more in the Derby. History has shown that a price in either race creates a profitable payout.
