Kentucky Derby 2022: Free Brisnet PPs are now available
With the 2022 Kentucky Derby less than three weeks away, the field is starting to take shape.
The leaderboard is set, but defections are likely between now and May 7. On Saturday, for example, Slow Down Andy was knocked out of contention. He had been No. 11 on the leaderboard, and his exit cleared the way for stablemate Happy Jack to make it into the 20 top slots.
Steve Asmussen's Epicenter is atop the leaderboard, with wins in the Louisiana Derby (G2) and Risen Star (G2) to his credit. He is followed by Blue Grass (G1) winner Zandon for trainer Chad Brown and White Abarrio, trained by Saffie Joseph Jr. All three of these trainers will be looking for their first Kentucky Derby victory.
